Will sweat for beer

Sufferfest Beer Company was born out of a need to provide a gluten-removed beer that doesn’t compromise on taste or quality. We partnered with sufferfest to design a beer that celebrates the company’s mantra: “medals for a job well done.”

The victorious fist icon communicates the brand’s ability to overcome the challenges of using barley in a gluten-free beer. Crisp white cans featuring a line of distinguished color ribbons and bold typography create a winning combination.

The Partnership Designsake’s partnership with Sufferfest Beer Company first brewed back in 2014 at a house party over a blank 16 oz can. Shortly after the event, Caitlin Landensberg, the company’s CEO, partnered with Designsake to bring their #earnit inspired, gluten-removed beers to the Bay Area.
The Problem Sufferfest Beer Company was born out of a need to provide a gluten-removed beer that doesn’t compromise on taste or quality.
Our goal was to design a beer that celebrated the company’s mantra: “medals for a job well done.”
A Winning Combination Sufferfest Beer was made for those who #earnit. Inspired by athletes but brewed for everyone, each can features a line of distinguished color ribbons and bold typography. The victorious fist icon, front and center on each can and carton, communicates the brand’s ability to overcome the challenges of using barley in a gluten-free beer.

Our dedicated partnership reached new heights in 2019 with the company’s acquisition by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., the legendary brewery’s first ever acquisition in 30 years.
